Software Engineer - Image and signal processing (m/w/d)

As Software Engineer you will maintain and extend our medical software for the analysis of movements and motor symptoms in persons with neurologic conditions. You will establish integrative solutions with partner platforms and are involved in the development of the next product generation with new AI-based diagnostic capabilities.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Development and maintenance of digital health software and software as medical devices (.NET C# and C++)
  • Development and implementation of algorithms to analyse 3D video data (e.g in C++)
  • Work in a multi-disciplinary team in medical and research projects

You offer us:

  • at least 3 years working experience, preferably in software and algorithm development
  • Hands on experience in signal processing, computer vision and machine learning approaches (e.g. using openCV, TensorFlow)
  • Fluent in C++ and Python
  • Comfortable in a low hierarchy, team driven and flexible distributed work environment
  • Comfortable in agile development structures
  • Ability to communicate with non-experts and medical experts in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Fluent language skills in English and at least basic skills in German

A plus would be:

  • University or college degree in a science related field
  • Fluent in .NET/C#
  • Experience in statistical data analysis / DataScience
  • Experience in biomechanics or similar fields
  • Hands on experience in the use of 3D cameras (e.g. IntelRealsense, Kinect)
